Venus Netsens is used as a drive test and network probe. By analyzing the test drive results, mobile operators can identify and resolve problems in their network and obtain useful information on the status and quality of their network, as well as to increase customer satisfaction. Netsens consists of an application that can be installed on a smartphone, and it displays the data collected by Atlas, which works as a service in the smartphone core. These parameters are divided into three general categories:
• Current channel parameters
• Radio parameters
• Serving + neighbor parameters
• Power and signal quality parameters
• Spatial Parameters
• Frequency parameters
• All SIB parameters related to cell selection and cell re-selection procedures
• Channel Allocation Parameters.
• Controlling level messages with their content, and NAS and PRC level messages.
• Full execution of the test drive as its primary task
• Measuring network coverage indoors and outdoors
• Recording and interpretation of signaling messages in test conversations.
• Network service testing and acceptance.
• Performing end-to-end tests for phone calls, data services and SMS for troubleshooting.
• Running periodic tests and pre-designed test scripts.
